Lamaar comes to the cage accompanied by Pledge To Hedley Lamaar. Mortis is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Crush 'em by Megadeth. Heddy Lamaar had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamaar keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mortis.
Lamaar tries for a takedown but Mortis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Lamaar takes the fight into the clinch.
Mortis working aggressively here.

Mortis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mortis throws a series of punches but Lamaar moves out of range.
Mortis attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Mortis keeps the fight on the outside.
A swing and a miss from Lamaar.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mortis.
Lamaar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lamaar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mortis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lamaar.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mortis, right into the meat.
Mortis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lamaar momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mortis misses with a hook. Lamaar ducked under it nicely.
Mortis thuds a left hand into Lamaar's body.
Lamaar is breathing heavily.
Lamaar on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Heddy Lamaar has been cut.
Jab, jab by Mortis - just one landing.
Mortis darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Lamaar's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Mortis before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
