Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Einar Benediktsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tokutaro Okada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benediktsson lands with a nice body punch.
Benediktsson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Benediktsson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Okada moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Okada lands with a kick to the ribs.
Benediktsson misses with a few strikes there.
Okada fails with a takedown attempt.
Okada moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Benediktsson misses with the combination.
Okada shoots in looking for a takedown. Benediktsson tries to sprawl out of it but Okada keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Benediktsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Okada wants to stand up but Benediktsson has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Okada jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Benediktsson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Benediktsson and Okada has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Okada decides to stand back up. Okada steps back and let's Benediktsson get back to his feet.

Okada throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benediktsson's waist but Benediktsson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Okada off to one side.

Benediktsson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Okada backs up against the cage.
Okada looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Okada tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Okada feints and as Benediktsson raises his hands in defense, Okada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Oh Benediktsson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Okada pushes down on Benediktsson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Okada seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Benediktsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Okada is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Benediktsson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Okada.
Okada prevents Benediktsson from improving his position.

Okada has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Benediktsson defend it? Okada steps over the head and cranks it - Benediktsson is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Okada!
