The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Red as GOMA shoots in.
Red gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and GOMA counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

GOMA decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Red, up you get!

Red is working an open guard so GOMA takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

GOMA misses with a head kick.
GOMA tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
GOMA finds Red's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Red flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. GOMA lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Red will be OK.
