PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Wilkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Berg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilkins comes to the cage accompanied by New Noise. Berg has chosen "Psycho Killer" by the Talking Heads as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Berg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Berg is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wilkins's half guard.

Wilkins manages to stand up with Berg still on his back. Eventually Berg drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.
Wilkins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Berg moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wilkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Berg.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Berg jumps guard and drags Wilkins to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
