Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joe Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JC Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, All My Life. The crowd seem to be enjoying Smith's choice of entrance music: Black Hole Sun. JC Smith looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick.

Man drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Smith wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Man trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.
Man tries to stand but Smith is controlling from the bottom.
Man trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Man has hold of Smith's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Smith manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Man. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smith seems to have recovered his senses.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Man wants to pass to mount but Smith is defending the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Man thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Smith wants to stand but Man is controlling the position.

Man decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Man shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Smith but Smith pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Man swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Man moves out of range easily.
Man shoots in looking for a takedown. Smith tries to sprawl out of it but Man keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Smith manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Man is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there.
Man creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Smith sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Man jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Smith manages to avoid the submission attempt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

It looks like Joe Man has been cut.

Man closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard.
Man wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Man drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Man jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Man wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Smith, who protects the arm well.

Man is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Man content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Smith has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Man is working away from the top position though.
