The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Watts misses with a looping right.
Watts misses with a body shot.
Cordoba moves forwards but Watts connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Watts throws a hook but Cordoba blocks it.
Watts connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cordoba's hands.

The fighters circle momentarily. Watts darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Cordoba fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Watts misses with a wild body shot.
Watts lands a jab to Cordoba's midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Watts cracks Cordoba with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Watts has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cordoba to stand back up!

Watts fakes the body blow, causing Cordoba to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Cordoba goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
