Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Escudero Escobar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ZEN FURY (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Escudero Escobar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, ZEN FURY!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but FURY swivels and escapes.

Escobar shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as FURY sprawls well. FURY wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Escobar gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Escobar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. FURY sprawls well initially but Escobar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

FURY drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and FURY jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

ZEN FURY showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


FURY changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Escobar tries to avoid it but FURY manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Escobar to the ground. Escobar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

FURY clinches.

Escobar is trying to trip FURY. He has hold of a leg but FURY is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Escobar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Escobar got a little sloppy there for a moment and FURY has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Escobar has managed to get both his arms back between FURY's legs - danger averted.

FURY is working an open guard so Escobar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. FURY connects with a nice short shot to Escobar's temple.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as FURY accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

ZEN FURY comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got FURY winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
