Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bastian Schweinsteiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Lawrence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Schweinsteiger comes to the cage accompanied by Son Kite - On Air. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence misses with a series of wild punches.
Schweinsteiger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawrence 's waist but Lawrence gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schweinsteiger off to one side.
Lawrence scores with a hook to the body. Schweinsteiger takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Lawrence lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Bastian Schweinsteiger has been cut.

Schweinsteiger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Schweinsteiger is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lawrence defends well.

Schweinsteiger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lawrence can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Schweinsteiger is working an open guard so Lawrence takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Lawrence lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schweinsteiger circles away quickly and effectively.
Schweinsteiger fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lawrence avoids it really well and circles away.
Lawrence misses with a series of wild punches.
Schweinsteiger moves forwards but Lawrence connects with a nice, crisp jab.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lawrence - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Lawrence misses with a punch on the inside.
Schweinsteiger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lawrence avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Schweinsteiger has Lawrence pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Schweinsteiger pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lawrence tumbling to the mat - Schweinsteiger dives into Lawrence 's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Schweinsteiger tries to free his leg and advance position but Lawrence is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lawrence wants to stand and escape but Schweinsteiger is having none of it.

Schweinsteiger thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Schweinsteiger has gone for a leg lock! Lawrence slips out almost immediately though and dives into Schweinsteiger's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Schweinsteiger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lawrence is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Schweinsteiger hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
