Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rakio Raw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and rr mijares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Raw comes to the cage accompanied by "Hollow Points". Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raw looks for a takedown but mijares sprawls well.
Raw feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
mijares wants to control the position but Raw says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
mijares is looking to escape.

Raw thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed mijares's head.

mijares is fighting off a takedown attempt but Raw is just too persistent for him and manages to trip mijares to the mat. mijares regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

mijares escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Raw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
mijares has momentary wrist control but Raw slips an elbow through the middle.

Raw postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. mijares looks a forlorn figure.
Raw unloads with some shots from mount but mijares bucks and avoids them well.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rakio Raw will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Raw rushes mijares and presses him up against the cage.
Raw has mijares pressed against the cage, preventing mijares from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
mijares misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Raw drops to a knee looking for a takedown but mijares gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rakio Raw. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Raw, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
