The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Betoli blocks a head kick by Banderson.
Bamela Banderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banderson throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
A nice inside leg kick there by Banderson. That's going to slow Betoli down.

Banderson looks to land a body kick but Betoli moved away.
Betoli connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Betoli scores with a crisp jab that stopped Banderson in his tracks.
Banderson throws out a leg kick but Betoli moves out of range and Banderson only half commits.
Banderson gets caught flat footed, as Betoli shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Banderson wants to stand and escape but Betoli is having none of it.
Betoli drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Betoli seems to have locked his on tight now - Banderson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Betoli, as he picks up the win!
