The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pablo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kensmith looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pablo closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Pablo shoots in and bounces Kensmith off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Kensmith jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pablo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pablo and Kensmith has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Kensmith lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Pablo!
Pablo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kensmith on the ground.

Kensmith looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Kensmith quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Kensmith but it's paid off an Pablo is forced to tap! Nice work by Kensmith.
