Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Muhammed comes to the cage accompanied by Smooth Criminal Saudi edition. Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In The Morning. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Smith!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Smith misses the shot to the body.
Muhammed buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Smith swings for the body but Muhammed moves out of range.
A nice combination there by Muhammed.
Smith pivots, looking for a leg kick but Muhammed is out of range and Smith settles back down.

Muhammed rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Muhammed lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Muhammed tries to pull guard but Smith holds him up against the cage and eventually Muhammed drops back down to his feet.

Muhammed decides to pull guard.
Muhammed is trying to keep Smith in close.
Muhammed wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.

Muhammed looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Muhammed looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Smith puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Smith tries to stand but can't do so whilst Muhammed controls his leg.
Muhammed regains full guard. Nicely done.

Muhammed has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.
Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Muhammed is on top in guard.

Smith looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Muhammed working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Smith working for a triangle but Muhammed defends it easily.
Muhammed throws a strike but Smith rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Muhammed is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Smith wants to stand but Muhammed is controlling his posture from full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Muhammed holds on and takes a little breather.
Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Muhammed swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Muhammed is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Smith decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Muhammed, up you get!
Muhammed throws a nice inside leg kick.
Muhammed cracks Smith with an open hand slap.
Muhammed staying out of range there.
A punch combination from Smith misses.
Muhammed scores with a jab to the body.
Muhammed lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Muhammed.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith looks gassed!
Smith misses with a head kick.

Muhammed closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Muhammed not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Muhammed is looking to advance position but Smith won't allow it.
Muhammed prevents Smith from improving his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Smith throws a leg kick
and Muhammed counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Smith stuns Muhammed with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Muhammed lands with a slapping head kick.
Muhammed comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Smith had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Muhammed defends it easily.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Muhammed landing with the ground and pound.
Muhammed trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muhammed slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Muhammed keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Smith's head.
Muhammed is working Smith over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Muhammed controls from within his opponent's guard.
Muhammed wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.

Muhammed is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Smith's shoulder. That is not cool.

A lull in the action here as Muhammed stalls from top position.
Muhammed sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Smith is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Muhammed Muhammed just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Smith looks to land a combination but Muhammed avoids it well.
Muhammed lands a head kick. Smith smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Muhammed thows a body shot but no joy.
Muhammed circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Smith drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Muhammed follows Smith to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
