Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Egon Wildfang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uriah Saltykov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Uriah Saltykov acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wildfang moves into the clinch.
Wildfang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saltykov has him pressed against the cage.
Wildfang fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Saltykov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wildfang fails with the takedown.

Wildfang has Saltykov up against the cage in a clinch.
Wildfang tries for a takedown. No joy.
Saltykov tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wildfang just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wildfang is fighting off a takedown attempt but Saltykov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wildfang to the mat. Wildfang regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Saltykov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Wildfang had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Saltykov is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wildfang Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Saltykov's back instead.

Wildfang is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Wildfang is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Saltykov defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Wildfang is looking to control Saltykov but Saltykov is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Wildfang is looking for the choke from the back position but Saltykov is controlling his hands well.

Wildfang has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Saltykov has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Wildfang looking to break Saltykov's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Saltykov remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wildfang will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Saltykov is trying to get back to his feet but Wildfang has full control of the position and if anything, Saltykov has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Wildfang is persistently looking for the submission but Saltykov is defending it well.

Wildfang is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Saltykov has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Wildfang has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Saltykov taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Wildfang doesn't care though - he's delighted!
