Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Read (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Green moves in looking to clinch but Read pushes him off.

Green shoots for a takedown but Read saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Green lands a two punch combo.
Read takes a swing at Green's ribcage but misses.
Green keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Read scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Read tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Read to the ground. Read escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom Green. That's going to take a lot out of him.
