Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ryfus Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelly's entrance music is Spaceboy. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryfus Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Cortez!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a wild body shot.
Cortez takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kelly scores with a shot to the body.
Kelly defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cortez.
Kelly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cortez shoots for a double leg takedown but Kelly sprawls well. He's pushed Cortez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
A nice leg kick lands there from Kelly.
Kelly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cortez.
Kelly lands with a good body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cortez is defended easily by Kelly.
Ryfus Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Cortez.
Cortez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kelly sprawls well. Kelly wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cortez gets slowly back to his feet.
Cortez looks gassed!
Kelly with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelly feints and then cracks Cortez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cortez down.
Kelly thuds a left hand into Cortez's body.
Kelly misses the shot to the body.
Kelly lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Cortez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kelly. Cortez does a little dance to reset his feet.
Kelly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cortez.
Kelly throws a combination. Cortez tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Cortez is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kelly lands a head shot.
Cortez is still on wobbly legs! Can Kelly finish him?
Kelly stuns Cortez with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Kelly is looking to wear down Cortez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kelly lands with a good body shot.
Cortez seems to have recovered his senses.
Kelly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kelly throws a nice inside leg kick.
Kelly scores with a hook to the body. Cortez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ryfus Kelly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kelly scores with a jab to the body.
Kelly darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kelly. That's going to slow Cortez down.
Ryfus Kelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kelly connects with a right hand. Cortez shakes it off.
Kelly throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Cortez stumbling backwards into the cage! Cortez bounces back off the cage towards Kelly, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Kelly lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Kelly celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
