The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
HORVAT walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
HORVAT tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Niemen is able to avoid easily.

Niemen with a nice cross.
Niemen lunges at HORVAT with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by HORVAT's hand.
Niemen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Niemen connects with a right hand. HORVAT shakes it off.
Niemen lands with a slapping head kick.
Niemen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Niemen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
HORVAT tries to score a power double leg takedown but Niemen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten HORVAT somewhat.
Niemen scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Niemen ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Niemen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of HORVAT's head.
HORVAT misses with a two punch combination.
HORVAT tries to clinch but Niemen is having none of it.
Niemen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Niemen throws a one two combo.
HORVAT looks gassed!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Niemen!
Donk. Niemen catches HORVAT right on the button with a cross.

Niemen darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Niemen catches HORVAT with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
HORVAT slips a jab and a cross from Niemen.
Niemen lands an overhand right.
HORVAT takes one to the chin there.
Niemen scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Niemen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Niemen lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
HORVAT is rocked!
Niemen lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. HORVAT is looking to close the distance but Niemen sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! HORVAT crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope HORVAT is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
