Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferguingo Sergio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GIORDANO FABIJAN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sergio blocks a head kick by FABIJAN.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

FABIJAN postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sergio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of FABIJAN, into his guard.
Sergio has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of FABIJAN is proving hard to escape from.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee warns Sergio that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

It looks like Ferguingo Sergio has been cut.

Sergio is looking to improve his position but FABIJAN isn't that keen on the idea.
