Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Covalent Minibar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Rix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Max Rix!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minibar throws a head kick but Rix moves out of range.
Rix shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Minibar as he jumps to the side.

Minibar drops Rix with a beautiful combination! Rix stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Minibar is looking for the KO!

Rix is rocked!

It looks like Max Rix has been cut.
Minibar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rix is still on wobbly legs! Can Minibar finish him?

Minibar has closed the distance and engaged Rix in a clinch.
Minibar gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rix.
Minibar comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Minibar breaks from the clinch.
Rix seems to have recovered his senses.
Minibar lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rix circles away quickly and effectively.

Minibar lands a big head kick that sends Rix tumbling to the mat! Minibar takes a step backwards and waves Rix back to his feet - he wants the finish!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Minibar rushes Rix and presses him up against the cage.
Rix changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Minibar fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Covalent Minibar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Rix.
Minibar drops Rix with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Rix! Minibar dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (strikes). Covalent Minibar!
