Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Teebow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and manny makunouchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). makunouchi has chosen sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teebow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A swing and a miss from makunouchi.
makunouchi misses with a looping right.
makunouchi leaves Teebow with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Teebow moves out of range as makunouchi strikes.
Teebow moves forwards but makunouchi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
makunouchi looks to land a right hand but Teebow moved out of range.
makunouchi scores with a decent looking hook.
A head kick misses from Teebow.

makunouchi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts makunouchi, as that shot connected.
Teebow shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Teebow ducks right into an uppercut from makunouchi.

It looks like manny makunouchi has been cut.
makunouchi throws a series of punches but Teebow avoids them all with ease.
makunouchi misses with a hook. Teebow ducked under it nicely.
makunouchi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
makunouchi looks to throw the jab but Teebow is out of range.
makunouchi throws out a loose jab but Teebow uses good head movement to avoid it.
makunouchi misses with a wild combination.

Teebow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

makunouchi keeping moving, preventing Teebow from controlling successfully.
makunouchi wants to sweep but no luck.
makunouchi is looking for a triangle but Teebow pushes his legs off easily.

Teebow trying to control the position from guard on top but makunouchi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Teebow missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
makunouchi misses with a looping left.
Teebow misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

manny makunouchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
makunouchi fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
makunouchi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
makunouchi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Teebow.
makunouchi looks to land a combination but Teebow avoids it well.
makunouchi throws the left hand but Teebow avoids the punch easily.
Teebow closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Teebow wants to control but makunouchi is keeping him busy.

Teebow tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Teebow has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

makunouchi can't do much from the bottom here.
makunouchi is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Teebow is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
makunouchi has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Teebow. Oh but makunouchi has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Teebow goes limp - he's gone! makunouchi jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
