Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Austin Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dos Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Mack the knife as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Austin Powers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Dos Silva!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Powers moves into the clinch successfully.
Powers wants a takedown.
Powers prevents the takedown attempt.
Silva goes for a takedown attempt but Powers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Silva throws a right and a left that Powers avoids nicely.
Powers closes the distance and clinches up with Silva, looking for a takedown. Powers pushes Silva against the cage but Silva circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva connects with a looping right hand.
A head kick misses from Silva.
Powers gets a clinch.
Powers is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Powers. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Silva decides to pull guard.
Powers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Powers wants to control from the top but Silva keeps moving.
Powers in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva wants to get back to his feet but Powers is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Silva has control of Powers's left arm, preventing Powers from doing any damage.
Powers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Powers trying to control but Silva is working from the bottom.
Powers working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Powers trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Powers shoots in for a double leg but Silva sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva throws a right and a left that both miss.
A big left from Silva misses.
Powers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Silva moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva with a lazy takedown attempt
and Powers counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Powers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Powers trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Powers drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Powers jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Powers working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Powers stands and throws Silva's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Powers tries for a kimura but Silva is defending well.
Powers is breathing heavily.
Silva is trying to buck Powers off.
Silva tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Powers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Silva tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Powers easily slips into full mount!
Silva's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Silva tries to lock up and control but Powers gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Powers trying to control but Silva is having none of it.
Powers takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
A nice elbow there by Powers.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Austin Powers will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Silva tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Silva pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Silva misses with a double jab
and Powers counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Silva down! Powers is looking to finish but Silva is intelligently defending himself.
Silva is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Powers postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Silva covers up, he's hurt! Powers keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Powers and the ref steps in to end the fight! Powers can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Austin Powers!
