Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Huey Freeman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adin Wrenton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Freeman kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't Tell Me Nothing. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrenton swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Wrenton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Freeman swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Freeman avoids the body shot from Wrenton.
Freeman throws a right hand that Wrenton ducks under and follows up with a left that Wrenton also avoids with ease.
Huey Freeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Freeman looks to land a combination but Wrenton avoids it well.
Freeman avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Freeman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wrenton throws a hook but Freeman blocks it.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wrenton holds on and takes a little breather.

Wrenton drops Freeman with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Freeman looks back up at him and smiles so Wrenton waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wrenton creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jeez, Huey Freeman's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Freeman jumps guard but Wrenton stands there with Freeman around his waist. Freeman gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Wrenton creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Freeman's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Freeman drops to his knees and Wrenton pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adin Wrenton!
