Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Send (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herbus Calzone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Send shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Calzone sprawls well. Calzone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Send gets slowly back to his feet.
Send throws a hook but Calzone avoids it easily.
Send throws a head kick that misses.
Send tries to bum rush Calzone with a series of wild strikes but Calzone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Send misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Send takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Calzone changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Send looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Calzone working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Calzone is working to tighten is grip on Send's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Send has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Calzone is really squeezing tight and eventually Send passes out! Calzone breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
