The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maggette throws a head kick that misses.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Yokohama finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Yokohama shoots for a double leg takedown but Maggette sprawls well. He's pushed Yokohama's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Maggette takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Cory Maggette .

Yokohama seems to have recovered his senses.

Maggette is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Maggette doesn't manage to clinch there - Yokohama circles away.
