PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zero Udala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Einstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Udala comes to the cage accompanied by The Beach Boys - Wouldn't it be nice. Einstein is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Angra - Mystery Machine. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udala throws a jab when Einstein was well out of range.

Einstein throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Udala was covering up waiting for the punch and Einstein finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Einstein controls from within his opponent's guard.
Udala utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Einstein stops Udala from standing up.
Einstein stands up over Udala, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Einstein has gone for a leg lock! Udala slips out almost immediately though and dives into Einstein's guard.

Udala stands up and waves to Einstein to follow him.

Einstein darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Udala is not content to let Einstein control the position.

Einstein is working for a submission of some sort.
Einstein throwing shots but Udala is blocking nicely.

Einstein trying to mount his opponent but Udala defends it.
Einstein takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Einstein prevents Udala from standing back up.

Einstein is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Udala is looking to escape.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Udala misses with a double jab.
Udala misses with a two punch combination.

Einstein shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Udala kicks Einstein off and gets back to his feet.

and Einstein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Udala's guard.
Einstein wants to control from the top but Udala keeps moving.
Udala can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Einstein controls the pace.
Udala wants to stand up but Einstein is controlling him.
Udala is breathing heavily.
Einstein is pushing down on Udala's leg trying to pass to half guard. Udala is fighting to maintain full guard but Einstein has managed to sneak the leg through.

Einstein is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Einstein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Udala doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Einstein.

Einstein darts in and clinches Udala up against the cage.

Udala breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Einstein moves away from the strike by Udala.
Udala tries to clinch
and Einstein makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Udala gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Udala pushes Einstein off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Einstein wants to take a breather but Udala is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Einstein works his foot free and advances to mount.
