Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cid Wakka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Mcallister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcallister misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wakka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mcallister sprawls well. Mcallister wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wakka gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Mcallister. No joy for Wakka on that attempt.
Mcallister throws a sloppy head kick and Wakka moves out of range easily.
Wakka jabs Mcallister right on the nose. Mcallister blinks but takes it well.
Wakka sends Mcallister crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Wakka is motioning to the referee to let Mcallister up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Jonny Mcallister has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wakka shoots in looking for a takedown. Mcallister tries to sprawl out of it but Wakka keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mcallister manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cid Wakka. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mcallister displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wakka.
Wakka blocks a head kick by Mcallister.
Wakka walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mcallister drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Wakka swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mcallister's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cid Wakka!
