Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Mkhalele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mkhalele has chosen Noir Désir - Un jour en France as his entrance music. Tristan Mkhalele is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mkhalele takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Mkhalele moves into the clinch.

Daley tries to reverse the position but Mkhalele maintains control.
Daley is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Daley is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Daley is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mkhalele is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Daley wants to get up but he can't break Mkhalele's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mkhalele had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Daley defends it easily.

Daley got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mkhalele has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Daley has managed to get both his arms back between Mkhalele's legs - danger averted.
