Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benoit Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivok Smolar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smolar has chosen Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong clinches up against the cage.
Smolar tries to stall but Kong uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Smolar is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
A short right from Smolar.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Smolar.
Kong is trying to maintain a safe position but Smolar gets an underhook and turns Kong into the cage.
Smolar is looking to control Kong's arms but Kong gets an underhook and turns him. Now Smolar has his back to the cage.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Kong has a couple of punches blocked by Smolar.
Kong slowing the pace effectively.
The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Benoit Kong.
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smolar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Smolar looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Smolar is looking to clinch but Kong is avoiding it.

Kong is working an open guard so Smolar takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Smolar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kong is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Smolar is keeping busy.

Kong goes for a takedown attempt but Smolar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ivok Smolar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Kong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Smolar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kong's guard.

Smolar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kong is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong is pulling down on Smolar's head to control his posture.
Smolar would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Smolar clinches up with Kong and pushes him back against the cage.

Smolar wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Smolar lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Kong for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Smolar is trying to force a seperation but Kong has the dominant position.
Kong is looking to control Smolar's arms but Smolar gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kong has his back to the cage.

Smolar lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kong.
Kong tries to stall but Smolar uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Smolar lands with a right to the head.

and Kong counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Smolar lands with a short shot to the head.
Smolar is pushing Kong up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Smolar manages to break the clinch.
Smolar throws a hook but Kong blocks it.
Smolar misses with a hook. Kong ducked under it nicely.
Kong clinches but Smolar breaks the clinch
and Smolar counters with a crisp one two that drops Kong! Smolar thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Kong to his feet! Kong is in big trouble!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivok Smolar dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Kong tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Smolar counters with a HUGE slam that knocks Kong out cold!!! When he eventually wakes up, that one's gunna hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Ivok Smolar!
