Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franek Kimono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sidney Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sidney Crosby!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Kimono.
Kimono on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Crosby lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Franek Kimono has been cut.
Crosby takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crosby connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kimono looks to throw the jab but Crosby is out of range.

Crosby drops Kimono with a right and a left! Crosby comes rushing in but Kimono regains his composure and manages to keep Crosby in guard.

Kimono wants to stand but Crosby is controlling the position.
Crosby throwing strikes but missing.
Kimono has Crosby pulled in close to control his posture.

Crosby postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Crosby pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kimono is keeping the position for now.
Crosby passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Crosby misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kimono is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kimono wants to control but Crosby postures up.
A control attempt from Kimono but he's now mounted!
Crosby throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Crosby throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kimono because Crosby loaded up on that one.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Crosby is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kimono to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kimono shrugs it off.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Franek Kimono's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
