The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant thuds his right hand into Monster's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Monster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grant manages to avoid it.
Monster looks to throw the jab but Grant is out of range.

Grant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Monster.
Dwight Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Grant is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Grant misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Grant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Monster tries to avoid it but Grant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Monster to the ground. Monster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Grant is trying hard to land a takedown here. Monster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Monster quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Grant has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Monster celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
