Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tetsuzan Yamashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kana Takinoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takinoshi leaves Yamashi with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A combination from Takinoshi does no damage.
Takinoshi misses with an uppercut.
Yamashi shoots in but Takinoshi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Takinoshi will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Yamashi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takinoshi is fending him off so far but Yamashi persists. Nope, Takinoshi circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tetsuzan Yamashi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Takinoshi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yamashi closes the distance and clinches up with Takinoshi, looking for a takedown. Yamashi pushes Takinoshi against the cage but Takinoshi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Yamashi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Yamashi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Takinoshi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Yamashi yanks on the arm and Takinoshi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Yamashi.
