Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Martin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Martin fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Anderson sprawls well initially but Martin persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Martin connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Anderson momentarily.

and Martin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Martin is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Martin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
