The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Mark Sims has been cut.

Sims sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sims does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
King wants to pass to mount but Sims is defending the position.

King wants to free his trapped foot but Sims is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sims postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked King badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Sims around the waist but Sims pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Sims is the winner by TKO! Sims jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
