The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo just misses with a punch to the body.
A solid leg kick lands there for Chronic.
Kongo misses with a two punch combination.

Chronic shoots for a takedown but Kongo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chronic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

It looks like Dustin Chronic has been cut.
Kongo throws a head kick that misses.
Kongo tries to score with a low kick but Chronic moves his leg out of the way.
Chronic throws a leg kick that is checked
and Kongo counters with a left to the body.
Kongo slaps away a takedown attempt from Chronic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cheick Kongo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dustin Chronic.
Chronic slips a jab from Kongo.

Kongo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Chronic fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kongo avoids it really well and circles away.

Kongo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chronic. That did some damage!
