And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ariel Sabio!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabio takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ariel Sabio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
West walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Sabio cracks West with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

West throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sabio was covering up waiting for the punch and West finishes the takedown easily into guard.

West stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sabio swivels though and keeps the full guard.

West has gone for a leg lock! Sabio slips out almost immediately though and dives into West's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sabio is stalling here. West is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sabio seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and West has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sabio tries to buck West off but West is having none of it.

That was a close round but I would say that Kanye West will probably get the nod.
