The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Burns.
Young tries to score a power double leg takedown but Burns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Young somewhat.

Young fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Burns avoids it really well and circles away.
Young shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Burns sprawls well. Burns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Young gets slowly back to his feet.

Young is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Burns will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Young wants to lay and pray for a moment but Burns keeps working.

That was a close round but I would say that Jake Burns will probably get the nod.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
