The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norton throws out a loose jab but Jackson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Norton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working.
Jackson manages to get to full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Norton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Norton drops back looking for a leg! Jackson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jackson manages to kick Norton off! Norton jumps back into Jackson's guard.

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Norton is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jackson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Norton's back instead.
Jackson is trying to stick to Norton's back but Norton is turning into Jackson. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Jackson's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Norton.
Norton passes Jackson's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jackson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Jackson is breathing heavily.
Jackson looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Norton puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Norton is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Norton is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jackson!

Norton is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jackson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jackson is on top in guard.

Norton is looking for a triangle but Jackson pushes his legs off easily.

Norton wants to sweep here but Jackson controlling him for the moment.

Norton is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Norton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Norton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Norton has hold of Jackson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jackson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jackson somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!

Norton uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a hook
and Norton counters with a big head kick but Jackson shrugs it off.
Jackson throws a sloppy head kick
and Norton counters with a head kick. That will keep Jackson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Jackson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Norton doesn't defend quickly enough and Jackson has managed to lock this one up! Can Norton escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jackson on a fantastic submission victory.
