Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ding Aling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emanuel Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ding Aling!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Emanuel Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aling drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Aling doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Aling manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

That was a close round but I would say that Ding Aling will probably get the nod.

Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Aling fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Aling changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Diaz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Aling tries to pass the half guard into mount. Diaz knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Well Diaz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
