Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leif Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Merit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson's entrance music is Black Star Deceiver. A fine choice. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Merit misses with a double jab.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Merit can do anything to dispel that myth.

Merit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Merit manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anderson manages to get himself to full guard.

Anderson tries to close the distance and clinch but Merit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Merit drops back looking for a leg! Anderson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anderson manages to kick Merit off! Merit jumps back into Anderson's guard.

Well Merit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
