The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Green sprawls well. Green wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mcdonald gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck for Mcdonald with that takedown attempt.
Green throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mcdonald.

Green fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mcdonald.
Green lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Green moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The cut above Murphy Mcdonald's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Nice straight punches there by Green. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Green.
Green throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mcdonald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mcdonald gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Green counters with a nice uppercut.
Green is working the combinations to good effect here.
Green scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mcdonald is trying desperately to land a takedown but Green is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Mcdonald.

Murphy Mcdonald's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Mcdonald is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
