Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ross Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woods looks to land a combination but Alves avoids it well.
Alves shoots for a takedown but Woods saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Alves.
Alves shoots in and drives through. Woods sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alves shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Woods as he jumps to the side.
Woods fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

A solid leg kick lands there for Woods.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Alves. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Woods. Alves shrugs it off though.

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Woods engages and cracks Alves with a massive lead left hook - Alves tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Woods is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
