Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dong Chim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leeroy Jenkins!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins keeps the fight on the outside.
Chim shoots in for a takedown but Jenkins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Chim napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jenkins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chim works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jenkins wants to control from the top but Chim keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Chim stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chim wants it to stay on the feet.

so Jenkins counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Jenkins must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jenkins has gone for a leg lock! Chim slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jenkins's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jenkins can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chim drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chim jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chim has Jenkins pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chim pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jenkins tumbling to the mat - Chim dives into Jenkins's guard.
Jenkins is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Chim defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jenkins.
Jenkins looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chim is fending him off so far but Jenkins persists. Nope, Chim circles away and we're back to standing.
Jenkins tries to clinch but Chim moves out of range.
Jenkins is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chim sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dong Chim will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jenkins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chim is proving hard to escape from.

Jenkins stands up and waves to Chim to follow him.
Jenkins throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chim will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Chim circles away from the clinch attempt.

Jenkins closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.


Chim is rocked!
A big shot lands for Jenkins! That's hurt Chim! Will he recover? Jenkins fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
