Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, nof nof!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tatus Muminka!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Muminka moves into the clinch.

Muminka has dropped down and is working for a takedown. nof is trying to keep an underhook but Muminka manages to get the takedown into half guard.

nof tries to keep at a distance but Muminka has taken the fight into the clinch.

and Muminka counters by clinching up.
Muminka presses nof against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Muminka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Muminka breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Muminka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
nof is breathing heavily.

Muminka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Muminka decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tatus Muminka dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Muminka scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Muminka misses with a head shot. nof uses the momentum to regain guard.

Muminka decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on nof, up you get!

nof closes the distance but Muminka moves to the side

and Muminka counters by moving into the clinch.

Muminka ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Muminka no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Muminka wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

nof works over Muminka with some ground and pound from guard.
Muminka utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Muminka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tatus Muminka showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


nof tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Muminka holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Muminka works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Muminka wants to pass the guard but nof is keeping the position.
nof is wriggling around but Muminka manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
nof tries to roll over but Muminka keeps him under control.

Muminka is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Muminka frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Muminka content just to control the position here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
nof keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Muminka looking to ground and pound but nof is blocking nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
nof is in all sorts of trouble here.
Muminka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
nof is bucking up trying to escape but Muminka cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

nof is desperately trying to improve his position but Muminka has a good base and remains in mount.

Tatus Muminka comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Muminka has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
