Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bradock Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tranzfer Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodriguez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Si Senor. Tranzfer Rodriguez will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris tries to clinch up but Rodriguez circles away and keeps his distance.
Norris lands a high kick!
Norris closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Norris pushes Rodriguez against the cage but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Norris counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Norris wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Rodriguez uses the opportunity to regain full guard.

Rodriguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Norris trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodriguez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Norris is looking to work some ground and pound but Rodriguez has wrist control.

Norris is breathing heavily.
Norris is looking to stand up but Rodriguez isn't so interested in that idea.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Norris trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Norris fails in his attempt to clinch.
Norris moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Norris throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Norris looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Rodriguez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Norris counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Norris.
Bradock Norris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tranzfer Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Norris has his hands clasped together but Rodriguez extends an breaks Norris's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Rodriguez.
