Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis Jr is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.

Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Davis Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown. Davis Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Jones keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Davis Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Jones's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
