Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pietro Bonelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonelli is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I wont Back Down-Eminem ft. P!nk. Pietro Bonelli has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bonelli swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Vera drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bonelli looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bonelli looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bonelli!

Vera is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bonelli knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bonelli for a finish.

Vera wants to control but Bonelli is keeping him busy.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Vera, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
