PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terron Cabal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Fantana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cabal's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Trapt--Sound Off. Brian Fantana told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabal throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Brian Fantana has been cut.

Cabal clinches.
Cabal stalls.

Cabal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Cabal shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Cabal fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cabal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
BOOM! Cabal connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantana really wants to buck Cabal off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cabal tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Cabal lands with some strikes.
The referee warns Fantana that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Fantana's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Cabal turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cabal manages to end up in side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cabal stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
