Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Noriega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mata Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Leon's choice of entrance music: Bodies. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noriega throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marco Noriega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Leon ducks under a wild hook from Noriega.
Noriega scores with a nice strike.
Leon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Noriega was covering up waiting for the punch and Leon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Leon throws and elbow that misses. Noriega uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Leon's guard. Nice move by Noriega!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leon keeping moving, preventing Noriega from controlling successfully.
Leon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Leon wants to get back to his feet but Noriega is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Noriega is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Leon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Noriega. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Noriega trying to control the position from guard on top but Leon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Leon looking to hit a scissor sweep but Noriega is one step ahead there.
Leon wants to stand up but Noriega is controlling him.
Noriega loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Noriega's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Noriega stays in close to Leon's body and controls the position.
Noriega is pushing down on Leon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Leon is fighting to maintain full guard but Noriega has managed to sneak the leg through.
Noriega wants to control but Leon is keeping him busy.
Noriega is taking a breather. Leon says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Noriega drops an elbow to the side of Leon's head.
Leon tries to roll over but Noriega keeps him under control.
Leon pushes Noriega off looking to stand but Noriega dives back in and keeps control.
Noriega has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Noriega with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Leon can do anything to dispel that myth.
Leon tries to roll over but Noriega keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Noriega uses his free foot to push down on Leon's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Leon.
Leon can't escape the position.
Noriega throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Leon tries to reverse the position but Noriega maintains control.
Noriega scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Noriega has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Leon's face.
Leon is rocked!
Noriega postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Leon bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Noriega and the fight is over!
