The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Benn has Rob up against the ropes in a clinch.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rob tries to keep at a distance but Benn has taken the fight into the clinch.

Benn is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Rob can't fight it off and eventually Benn manages to take the fight to the floor. Rob looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Benn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Rob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Benn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rob's head.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Benn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Benn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rob is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Benn wants to free his trapped foot but Rob is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Benn connects with a nice short shot to Rob's temple.
