PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Skaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Horner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skaf comes into the arena with Opeth - Burden blaring out of the sound system. Horner has chosen Roky Erickson - Stand For The Fire Demon as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horner cracks Skaf with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Horner throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Skaf misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Skaf takes one to the side of the head.
Skaf will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Skaf shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thomas Skaf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice shot lands for Horner.
Skaf shoots for a double leg takedown but Horner sprawls well. He's pushed Skaf's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Horner misses with a looping left.
Horner moves into range and connects with a jab.
Skaf dives in and grabs Horner's left leg, looking for a takedown. Horner pushes down on Skaf's head and hops out.
Horner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Horner wants it to stay on the feet.
Skaf is breathing heavily.
A jab from Horner finds it's way through Skaf's defenses.
Horner jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Horner lands a jab.
Skaf shoots in for a takedown but Horner shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Horner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Horner wants it to stay on the feet.
Horner scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
The crowd cheers as Horner lands an impressive looking overhand right. Skaf doesn't seem phased though.

Skaf is rocked!
Skaf switches off momentarily and Horner cracks him with a monster right hand! Skaf topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Horner dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Horner!
