The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goines closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Goines controlling the position from side mount.

Goines thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Goines slows the pace down.

Goines working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Lund trying his best to control but Goines has mounted him.

Lund holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Goines tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Goines is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lund is surviving well by controlling Goines's body position as best he can.
Goines sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Goines breaks from Lund's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lund is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Poor strikes thrown by Goines there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Lund is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Lund tries to hold on but Goines pushes him away.

Goines working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Lund is doing well to defend. Goines seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Lund is forced to tap and this one is over!
